Good activities to do with a child (11 year old) in or around Elizabeth, NJ?
I’d like to take my younger sister to do something fun, but I’m not familiar with the area – anyone know anything specific that we could do?
Check your local community centers. They may even have a Boy & Girls club in your area. The Girl Scouts is an excellent activity to get your sister into. It helps build good character and confidence. Local churches have activities for kids to get into, but some require you to be a member. That may not be such a bad thing.
Don’t for get sports. I know in NYC and I’m pretty sure NJ has Track & Field activities for young girl sponsored by Colgate. Soccer, tennis, swimming the list is endless.
