Summer programs/activities for English-speaking children in Tokyo areas?
We are currently living in Tokyo due to my husband’s job. Can anyone recommend any English-speaking summer programs/activities? My kids are 11 and 7 and they don’t speak Japanese. I would like to find some activites for them to keep them occupy during their 2-month-long summer break. Thank you! I posted this earlier but am reposting this under Japan. I know it’s still January, but would like to know what’s out there. I don’t speak Japanese myself, so I am looking for English-speaking programs to avoid any communication problems. Thanks again.
Pick up a free copy of “Metropolis” magazine and “Tokyo Notice Board”. They should have lots of stuff that’s available for your entire family.
You can find “Metropolis” and Tokyo Notice Board anywhere in Tokyo. For example, if you go to a major bookstore or music store, just ask for the “Free Paper” section.
